Before your visit, skip any blood-thinning products if you can unless medically indicated. Arrive with a clean face, no make up, avoid drinking alcohol for a full day beforehand, and limit the use of caffeine, ginkgo biloba, marijuana, aspirin, ibuprofen a few days prior to visit.

The process usually lasts around 30–45 minutes. You might experience a quick, mild pinch during the injections, but overall, the treatment is comfortable with mild pain. Some treatment areas can be "spicier" than others.

Visible changes usually begin around 3 days, less movement around 7 days, and a full activation of the neuromodulator by 14 days. Please note that during the transition between day 1 - 14 different muscles may be more active than others at different time and to be patient and wait the full 14 days. The outcome generally lasts for about 3-4 months, depending on factors like your body’s metabolism, dose used (if you want to be more or less frozen) and the treated region (such as the around around the mouth will last typically 1-2 months due to activity).

After your treatment you will be advised to return within 2 weeks to be assessed up touch-up is needed if there are concerns treatment was not as effective. Provider will make the appropriate assessment and judgement if more units are needed and will be covered complementary up to a certain number of units per policy. Some clients have been found to have resistance to neuromodulators and may need to have a full treatment with another brand if one brand was not effective.
